I’ve always wondered, how and why I responded to “but that’s so courageous” with “I don’t think so”. Was I being rude by dismissing their words?!?

Today, I heard this Christopher Paolini passage being quoted (on the series Pretty Little Liars), and all of a sudden it made sense, why I could never see my transition as an act of courage; for I was not afraid.
